Okuma's SST Carbon Grip series is a full line of casting and spinning rods intended for Salmon, Steelhead and Kokanee fishing applications. Utilizing each species' most popular tapers and actions, these rods deliver one of the best "bang for the buck" of any salmon or steelhead rod on the market today.
The carbon handled selection includes twenty-six models of technique-specific salmon and steelhead actions from the standard SST lineup, four models of pink Ladies Edition SST actions and three 4-piece multi-species travel rods for a total of thirty-four new models.
Carbon grip rods are crafted from tubular woven 3K carbon fiber. Anglers love the material for its durability, ease of cleaning, ease of use in rod holders and long-lasting goodlooks. Additionally, the coarse weave of 3K carbon fiber provides a confident and sure grip in all weather conditions.
