KastPro 13X Finesse braid is a great casting fishing line to use as a saltwater braided line or surf fishing line.

Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene or UHMPE, allows us to create an extremely smooth yet incredibly strong braid. These amazing fibers have a strength to weight ration that is 10x stronger than steel, have no memory and virtually zero stretch. In fact, KastPro 8X Finesse is 75% thinner in diameter than most monofilament lines with the same breaking strength. Its ultra-thin and supple construction allows it to flow easily from the face of spinning reels and flow smoothly from baitcasting reels with zero memory, delivering exceptional long and accurate casting distance. Compared to traditional braided line, you will see distance and accuracy improvements with our 8-strand braid. While being extremely supple, it still has near zero stretch for quicker hook sets. Unlike fused lines, KastPro 8X Finesse braided fishing line has superior line to leader and line to lure knot strength.
