With 5 stainless steel roller bearings and 1 Infinite Anti Reverse roller bearing, the Slammer offers immediate hook setting capabilities with a high-performance gear feel that will not corrode. The beefy 760 Model is equipped with 6 roller bearings and 1 Infinite Anti Reverse roller bearing for an exceptionally smooth performance. In order to handle the greater drag placed on the reel by super-braids, the Slammer's main support shaft for the spool is drastically oversized and triple supported throughout the frame so that alignment and balance will not be compromised under intense pressure. Taking advantage of the large and under-utilized area beneath the spool, the Slammer is outfitted with an oversized, HT 100 drag washer that protects the drag from the elements, providing increased drag ranges and drastically increased fish-stopping power for the drag system.
