What type of security light is this? What is it powered by?
This motion light is a hardwired security light, powered by AC Power.
Why can't my security light sense motion? / Why is there no motion, but the motion light is on?
1) Check whether the sensing distance you set is in line with the actual. 2) The motion sensor must be aimed at the area where you need to sense motion. 3) Small animals such as squirrels do not trigger the induction.
Can the motion sensor light be installed on the opposite side of the camera?
Since the indrared rays will cause the security light to not work properly, it is recommended to install the motion light on the same side(not opposite) of the camera and keep at least 5ft.
Can I mount this security light horizontally?
We recommend vertical installation. Horizontal installation will affect the sensing angle and lighting range of the sensor.
Does this security light have D2D function?
No.
