The wire probe, whose wire length is 42'', probe head is 0.86'', heat resistance withstand up to 572°F (-50°C~300°C)，can be used in the oven, grill, smoker to insert the kitchen thermometer into the thickest part that measure the internal temperature of meat from raw to well-done. Ideal for outdoor and indoor cooking, BBQ, grilling etc.
Note: you can only leave the wire/plug probe in the oven, the unit body must always keep outside the oven.

(2)The wire probe and the original probe can't function together. Retract and lock the original probe while use the wire probe.
